Ceracoat CeramicSOLAR SURFACE TECHNOLOGY

02 / THE BENEFITS

Protect the surface.
Preserve the yield.

Make surface care part of your solar asset strategy, from new installations to existing parks.

01

Energy yield

Cleaner glass allows more light to reach the cells. The benefit depends on how much soiling the installation would otherwise experience.

02

Operating costs

Less reliance on frequent manual cleaning can reduce labour, equipment and access costs.

03

Water and resources

A rain-supported cleaning cycle can reduce the need for repeated water-intensive cleaning visits.

04

Long-term surface care

One application is designed to provide up to 5 years of self-cleaning action, helping keep panels cleaner for longer and reduce repeated cleaning work.

05

Straightforward application

An even spray application requires no spreading, wiping or polishing. Plan around the specified temperature and weather window.

06

New project integration

Factory application offers an opportunity to include surface treatment before modules are shipped to the installation site.

LONG-LASTING SURFACE CARE

One application.
Up to 5 years of action.

CERACOAT is designed to remain active for up to 5 years. Reduced dirt build-up can significantly extend the intervals between manual cleaning visits.

Service life and cleaning intervals depend on application quality, rainfall, panel tilt and local contamination. Up to 5 years of coating activity does not mean a fixed 5-year cleaning interval.

BUILT AROUND YOUR PROJECT

From industrial roofs
to utility-scale solar.

Owners & operators

Evaluate the effect on yield, cleaning frequency and operating costs across your assets.

Installers & EPCs

Offer coating alongside new installations or as an upgrade to existing customer systems.

Cleaning companies

Combine a clean surface with a coating application to extend the value of each service visit.

A PRACTICAL BUSINESS CASE

Start with the costs
you know.

A useful evaluation compares coating and application costs with avoidable cleaning costs and the value of any additional measured energy production.

For a project-specific assessment

  • Installed capacity and total module area
  • Current cleaning frequency and cost
  • Local rainfall and soiling conditions
  • Electricity value and production history
  • Access and application requirements

Return on investment varies by site. A project assessment is more useful than a universal payback promise.
